Home-Cooked Meals

Cooking has always been my love language. It’s hard planning for meals on a daily basis with all the forecasting what meals to cook for the day or for the week, budgeting your finances for grocery items and slicing all the ingredients in preparation for the cooking but it doesn’t matter because at the end of the day, I get to feed my husband and sometimes my family when they come over. I admit I’m not a great cook but I try my best to always practice and I never get tired of watching recipe videos online. I have 1 favorite Android app that I’m using which is Pinoy Food Recipes. Good thing about this app is that it lists a lot of different Filipino food favorites and you can also use the app even when offline. This is of great help especially when I’m doing my grocery for the ingredients and my signal isn’t great, I still get to see the things I need to buy for my planned meals for the week. They say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach and I certainly believe that to a certain extent, and I just thank my stars that my husband eats whatever I serve him hehe. Here are just some of the meals I’ve cooked for the loves of my life. =)

chicken pandan
Beef Tapa
chicken adobo with quail eggs
Diced potatoes & carrots with quail eggs
chicken tinola
Tortang giniling
Pako salad
Buttered Garlic Shrimp
Chicken Sopas
Chicken Broccoli
